Shoreline Yacht Club is the only yacht club in the vicinity of Downtown Long Beach. We are conveniently located by the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary and the numerous fine dining establishments along Pine Ave. and inside the Pike and Shoreline Village.
Arriving By Sea:
To plan your trip to Shoreline Yacht Club, refer to NOAA Chart 18749 or your equivalent navigation chart depicting the San Pedro Bay. The Shoreline Marina is located north of the Queen Mary and west of Island Grissom. A short breakwater protects the marina entrance and is accessible from both sides. Shoreline Yacht Club is located between the head of gangways X and Y.
The San Pedro Bay contains the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Heavy ship traffic is constant and caution should be taken when transiting this area. Always check the current Local Notice to Mariners to verify what construction and/or dredging operations may be in progress and plan your course accordingly.
Shoreline Yacht Club offers bar and dining reciprocity to all visiting yachtsmen who are members of another yacht club anywhere in the world. Please sign in at the front desk and wear your club badge or fill in a blank one while you are visiting our facility. Slip reciprocity is available to members of all SCYA affiliated clubs based on availability.
Shoreline Marina requires the following paperwork be submitted and approved prior to arrival. Please forward all paperwork to the Port Captain directly.
- SYC Reciprocity Agreement
- Copy of Current Yacht Club Membership Card
- Copy of Current Boat Registration or Documentation
- Copy of Current Vessel Insurance
- Copy of Current Drivers License
Our 2021 Port Captain is Ed Hart – please reach out to him for availability and reservations.
Shoreline Yacht Club is located off of the service road paralleling Shoreline Drive. We are inside a gated parking lot. Please call the office for information as to how to open the gate and receive your parking pass.
